You can lose money

Leveraged trading in forex, metals, indices and CFDs can result in losses that exceed your deposit.

Backtests are not live results

Every figure on this site comes from MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester simulations, not from real accounts.

No advice, no guarantees

MetaTradingBot sells software. Nothing here is investment, tax or legal advice, and no return is promised.

Your decision, your risk

Which EA to run, on which account, with what lot size and how long is entirely your responsibility.

1. Market risk

Trading foreign exchange, precious metals, indices, cryptocurrencies and contracts for difference on margin carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for every investor. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you.

Before using any expert advisor you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience and risk appetite. You could sustain a loss of some or all of your capital. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and never borrow to trade.

2. Backtested and hypothetical performance

All statistics shown on MetaTradingBot (net profit, return, win rate, profit factor, drawdown, equity curves, monthly tables) are produced by the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester on historical data. They are hypothetical results, prepared with the benefit of hindsight, and do not represent actual trading.

Simulated results have inherent limitations. They do not include the effect of real spread widening, slippage, requotes, swaps, commission changes, latency, server outages or the emotional pressure of live trading. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.

Past performance, whether real or simulated, is not a reliable indicator of future results. Market conditions change and a strategy that worked on historical data can stop working at any time.

3. Strategy specific risks

Grid, martingale, hedging and recovery style strategies can show long periods of steady profit followed by sudden, deep drawdowns. The maximum drawdown in a report is the worst case observed in the test period, not the worst case possible.

Always read the full backtest, pay attention to max drawdown and the recommended minimum deposit, and start on a demo account before going live. Position sizing and the account balance you run the EA on are your choices.

4. No investment advice

MetaTradingBot is a software vendor. We are not a broker, a licensed financial adviser, a portfolio manager or an investment company, and we are not regulated by any financial authority. Nothing on this website, in our documentation, emails, chats or community sections constitutes investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument.

Reviews, ratings and discussion posts are written by users and reflect their personal opinions only.

5. Software, brokers and execution

Expert advisors are provided as is. We work to keep them stable, but software can contain bugs, and platforms, brokers and market data feeds can behave unexpectedly. Results differ between brokers because of spreads, execution model, symbol specifications, trading hours and server time.

You are responsible for your MetaTrader installation, your VPS, your internet connection, your broker choice and for monitoring any EA you run. We are not liable for trades opened or closed by the software on your account.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaTradingBot, its owners, developers and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, including lost profits or trading losses, arising from the use of or inability to use our software, website, data or documentation, even if advised of the possibility of such loss.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the software is to stop using it, subject to the Refund policy.

7. Jurisdiction

Leveraged trading and the use of automated trading software may be restricted or regulated in your country. It is your responsibility to make sure that using our products complies with the laws and regulations that apply to you. Our services are not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where such use would be unlawful.
